Description

The quality of wines coming out of Rapaura Springs has moved ahead in leaps and bounds and their Reserve Chardonnay 2022 is a cracker. For the low-price tag this is a wine not to be missed. It consistently scores well in the Fine Wine Annual Chardonnay tasting and typically is a standout wine for quality, complexity, and value. The perfect wine for long summer afternoons at the beach or on the deck with friends enjoying nibbles, a cheese platter, and cured meats whilst you fire up the barbie. 

Smells

Creamy, leesy, meal biscuits with undertones of nashi pears, white nectarines, a touch of wild fennel, cinnamon, and vanilla toasty notes.

Tastes

Generous fruit, lots of stone fruit flavours, clean, fresh, and pure with zippy acid and judicious oak handling where the oaky nuances add length and a creamy texture. Well handled, drinking well now through 2026.
