Description

Church Road McDonald Series Syrah has a long and flavorsome palate with a fine, supple texture. A deep purple-red in colour, this Syrah has a core of rich plum and berry-fruit which is lifted by fragrant spice, violet and liquorice aromas. The palate is a medium weight and supple with a long finish. This wine is well matched to a range of meat and game or robust vegetarian dishes particularly displaying more earthy or Savoury elements such as mushrooms, eggplant, cavelo Nero, pulses and cheese.
