Description

The Balvenie DoubleWood is a 12 year old single malt which gains its distinctive character from being matured in two wood types. Over the period of maturation, it is transferred from a traditional oak whisky cask to a first fill European oak sherry cask. Each stage lends different qualities to the resulting single malt ~ the traditional casks soften and add character, whilst the sherry wood brings depth and fullness of flavor. Smooth and mellow with beautifully combined flavors - nutty sweetness, cinnamon spiciness and a delicately proportioned layer of sherry. 

ABV: 40%

We have a rather simple shipping policy aimed towards our customers. We offer shipping included across NZ (except Chatham, Great Barrier, and Stewart Island), on all orders above $99.

On orders below or at $99, we have a flat shipping fee of:

  • $9.95 for anywhere in North Island, South Island or Waiheke Island.
  • We DO NOT charge additional for rural delivery
  • We DO NOT charge additional for packaging. We bubble wrap all the bottles free of charge.
  • We take COMPLETE RESPONSIBILITY if bottles get broken during delivery.
  • We take COMPLETE RESPONSIBILITY if you get the wrong order.
