Description
Licor 43 is an amazingly versatile Spanish liqueur with sensationally smooth layered flavors of vanilla, citrus and caramel, inspired by the legendary ‘Licor Mirabilis’ created more than 2,000 years ago. Today, Licor 43 is still produced in Cartagena, Spain, from a secret Spanish family recipe of Mediterranean citrus fruits infused with selected botanicals.
Licor 43’ is a liqueur with a complex, but harmonic flavor profile that can be perceived at 4 levels:
Citrus: Reminiscence to the lively citrus aromas of Mediterranean citrus gardens.
Botanic:Â The subtle spiced touch of coriander.
Sweet:Â The sweet palate of mature fruit and nuances of vanilla.
Floral: Soft notes of Mediterranean orange and lemon blossom, with a certain point of astringency derived from the peel of citrus fruits, smoothed with notes of mature fruits.
Nose: Citrus fruits infused with selected botanicals lend the liquid aromatic, citrus essences, a delicate vanilla touch, and a hint of caramel
